Staff In-service
School staff participate in an informative and fun 1-hour workshop to clarify the power of the goals of the year round program. Staff will learn easy to implement tools to use in the classroom to build community and trust.
In our year round program, we offer a basic overview of Soul Shoppe and the skills and tools we use. We also have available the follow in-service workshops for school staff:
Team Building:If your staff is in need of more cohesion, we provide a day long workshop that will help your team break down barriers and breakthrough to creating a stronger and healthier school staff. Through team building activities and safe group sharing the day will end with all participants feeling appreciated and inspired.
Safe Learning Environments: In this in-service, staff will learn about positive classroom environments and practice skills in positive languaging to get the results they really want from their students.
Peacemaker Training
30 students (grades 3-5/6) are chosen to be the campus peacemakers for the school year. We work closely with an on-site coordinator (Peacemaker Liaison) to ensure the program’s success. Peacemakers receive a 5-part training that includes conflict resolution and leadership skills. Learn more about the Peacemaker training. We also offer a Peacemaker training package that we sell separately.
Program Days
For the 08-09 year round program, we suggest 4 assemblies and 2 workshops days. Please check the assembly and workshop pages to learn more about the topics we offer.
Parent Night
During the Parent Night, we deliver a powerful overview for parents to give them the skills their students are learning at school and to encourage them to reinforce the learning at home. In addition to Parent Night which offers an overview of SoulShoppe skills, we offer a more indepth 3-part parent class.
Monthly Curriculum
On our Resources page here on the website, you can find more information about reinforcing the character themes throughout the month.
